Every day I meet people who are doing everything they can, yet still feel lost in confusing medical language, unclear instructions, and decisions that feel too big to make alone. And these challenges always seem to surface when life is already full with day-to-day responsibilities.
I understand that feeling because I have lived it myself.
In the middle of studying for my nursing exams, my mom experienced a medical crisis. I had to step away from studying to help her, and even with medical training, I remember how overwhelming it felt for everyone in our family. That experience shaped my career path and the way I approach advocacy today.
In my decade as an RN and advocate, I have seen how overwhelming life becomes when families are thrown into unexpected medical or caregiving challenges. That is why I founded Lighthouse Concierge Care. Sometimes I am the interpreter who explains information in plain language. Sometimes I’m the safe space for everyone to feel heard. I’m here to coordinate specialists, appointments, and next steps so that you have more time for what matters. No matter the situation, my goal is to keep care on track while protecting everyone’s physical, emotional, and relational health.
